**Maintenance Technician - Waxahachie** **2nd-3rd Shift / $34** Applicants must pass a Ramsay Test. **Job Description** This Pharmaceutical Distribution has a fully automated fulfillment service for the distribution of all their products. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems. This role includes PLC troubleshooting and root cause analysis. The technician will act as a liaison for internal and external resources and be on call as needed. This position requires strong project management skills, effective communication skills, self-direction, and the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a dynamic environment. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical and electrical equipment and components + 3 phase motors, 480v + Integrated Systems with PLCs + Allen Bradley PLCs (old and new ones) troubleshooting and repair + High Speed Automated Sorting machines + VFDs, Photo Eyes, Sensors + Robotic equipment + Gantry cranes + 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, 12 cranes + PLC PM programs + Update computer status using TMI Systems (software) **Soft Skills** + Strong project management skills + Effective communication skills + Self-directed + Ability to multi-task + Deliver results in a dynamic environment **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Waxahachie, Texas. **Work Environment** Distribution Center environment. Team of 30 Multi-craft Technicians at different levels: General, Snr, PLC Technicians, and Master Technicians. Team player environment, work in groups, communicate, offer solutions. Culture of quality and reliability.
