Position Responsibilities
We are hiring for Maintenance Planner on our 1st shift.
You will report to the maintenance supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team member.
You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.
Ensure parts inventory is adequate to support production/drumbeat activity and at the lowest possible level.
Lead Pre and Post Drumbeat meetings and all Drumbeat activities.
Review and prioritize notifications with 24 hours of generation.
Ensure work orders are accomplished and correctly prioritized.
Work order backlog is current, sorted for reporting and is managed to meet plant needs.
Maintenance work is planned using "SIMPTWW"
Communicate daily with maintenance, production, accounting, and vendors to resolve any issues.
Communicate daily and weekly notes on planned and unplanned work
Lead the scheduling of maintenance work for the next wee during the weekly planning meeting.
Add parts to tasks. (PM10).
Verify accurate tagging in LEDS, PM02 notification, and BDAR
Help with BDAR review.
Requisition parts and materials for work order packages and non-stocked items.
Identify projects for continuous improvement within the department and the plant, including reliability improvements
Update annual maintenance plan.
Identify cost reduction projects in the facility.
Track output and in process measures and keep current.
Losses are identified and "improvement themes" developed to eliminate losses. Improvement Theme action plans are owned by the maintenance planner.
Ensure all equipment design change proposals follow the Change Management Procedure
Support other departments and project work.
Position Qualifications
High school diploma required.
SAP or CMMS experience
Formal planner experience
One to three years' experience in maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
