Our Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs on the Tank Farm, Warehouse, facilities, equipment, forklifts, trailers, and trucks.

 

What You’ll Do:

2nd Shift 1:00pm-9:30pm Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned including but not limited to painting, rack identification, and replacement of light fixtures & light bulbs.  May also trim trees and complete outdoor maintenance tasks as assigned. Completes various welding and fabrication projects Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors Monitors progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and proper repairs Provides guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers Serve on company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team Performs required testing, repairs, and re-certification of IBCs Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines Perform all other duties as required. Will conduct regular monthly facility inspections

 

What You’ll Need:

Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training Ability to drive truck- Class A license a plus. Ability to perform general welding a plus Ability to perform computer work and be able to operate excel, word and Outlook a plus
