**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** You will be performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food processing equipment. Repairs will be both mechanical and electrical. Responsibilities also include breaking down machinery for cleaning and starting up the machinery. Candidates must be strong in electrical troubleshooting. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on food processing equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical issues. + Break down machinery for cleaning and reassemble it for startup. + Use electrical troubleshooting skills to address issues on 24-480V systems. + Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and gears. + Apply basic PLC knowledge in troubleshooting and repairs. + Work 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance experience or 7+ years of manufacturing machine maintenance. + Electrical troubleshooting skills on 24-480V systems. + Mechanical experience with pneumatics, power transmission, pulleys, chains, sprockets, drives, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and gears. + Basic PLC knowledge. + Ability to walk through electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing, including tools and repair methods. + Good job tenure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma/GED. + Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is a plus. + Food/GMP experience is highly desirable. + Experience in welding and fabricating. **Why Work Here?** This is an opportunity for career growth with a new company in the area. The environment is refrigerated. Working hours include 1st shift (5am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-12:30am), and 3rd shift (11pm-8:00am), with the need for flexibility. Training for 1-2 weeks on the 1st shift is required. Currently working 5-6 days a week, tools will be provided, and candidates have the option to bring their own basic tools. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of San Antonio, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64400.00/yr.
