Maintenance Analytics Summer Student
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student to join our Maintenance Team for the upcoming summer term. This role will focus on supporting preventative maintenance modeling, assisting with RFP processes from a data-driven perspective, and streamlining vendor communications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Excel and Power BI, with a keen ability to create insightful dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance Data Modeling:
Assist in analyzing and modeling preventative maintenance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity and relevance in modeling efforts.RFP Support:
Provide data-oriented support for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including the preparation of analysis and documentation.Help standardize processes for data collection and presentation to streamline the RFP workflow.Vendor Communications:
Support vendor communications, including following up on data requests and ensuring timely responses.Help manage vendor performance data and assist in resolving data-related queries.KPI Dashboards and Reporting:
Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and Excel to track maintenance KPIs.Present insights and recommendations based on KPI performance to support continuous improvement initiatives.General Administrative and Analytical Support:
Assist with ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests.Support the maintenance team with administrative tasks as neededQualifications:
Education:
Currently enrolled in a university or college program in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.Must be entering their 4th year of study in Fall 2025.or are currently enrolled in their final semesterTechnical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.).Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.Knowledge of data modeling and analysis techniques.Soft Skills:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Other:
