We are looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to lead our maintenance team to minimize downtime at this new location.

 

The Maintenance and Facilities Manager provides leadership and direction to the department. This individual handles maintenance of the building and maintenance and repair of equipment within the facility. This position supervises the workflow of the department, department calls and feedback to engineering and management on equipment issues. You will also manage department budget and develops long-range department goals/strategies and uses data to implement continuous improvement. This position will mentor and develop a team of technicians who can work independently to troubleshoot equipment and perform repair work.

Highlights of your role Supervises and coordinates all aspects of maintenance operations and establishes or adjusts work procedures to support operations requirements.Develops and executes department budgets and strategies.Provides good quality service to all customers and ensures that repair parts inventory is well managed.Provides direct leadership and performance management to maintenance associates by setting and sharing work expectations, mentoring and developing associates within the team and hiring/managing maintenance resources.Facilitates training of associates on equipment, procedures and processes.Serves as point of contact for contractors and ensures they are appropriately supervised.Completes projects within time and budgetary specifications.Supports continuous improvement, stays informed on maintenance technology, and implements changes/improvements to help increase team/equipment efficiency.Ensures all maintenance areas and associates meet housekeeping and safety standards.Plan, schedule and support preventative maintenance and related work orders; ensure availability, accuracy and timeliness of any applicable replacement part orders.Investigate quality concerns to determine root causePrevent quality issues from leaving facility You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Hold a bachelor's degree in a related fieldHave a well known knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical machines, and have the ability to work with power tools and computer equipment and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking abilities Also want to make sure you have Two or more years of related supervisory experience or trainingFour or more years of mechanical experience, with an emphasis in automation and electrical trainingSkills to problem solve, train, direct, self motivate, and communicate effectively We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin
