Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Victor, United States. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

Complete work orders and general maintenance projects throughout the communityPerform repairs and prepare apartments for new move-insConduct installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, and carpentryHandle painting, equipment repair, pressure washing, and basic landscaping tasksOrder and organize maintenance supplies as neededRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergenciesCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projectsMaintain accurate records of completed work and inventoryAdhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times$19- $21/hr 

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCarpet cleaning experience is requiredGeneral mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is preferredBasic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentryProficiency in using hand and power toolsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication abilities with a positive attitudeSelf-motivated with a can-do approach to tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedulesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyValid driver's license and clean driving record may be required
