The Maintenance Associate performs all aspects of troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electromechanical systems as well as general building maintenance support in the fulfillment center environment.

Electrical Knowledge (24V DC,110V,120V, 220V, 480V)
Knowledge of motors and motor controls
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Basic knowledge on plumbing, welding, and forklift operation
Ability to read a voltage meter
Complete all work orders and preventative maintenance as assigned
Capability to use and navigate through maintenance management programs (SAP, UpKeep, etc.)
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Follow proper safety guidelines including point of work risk assessment and lockout/tagout
Troubleshoot, repair, and install parts on machines and equipment
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Knowledge and proper use of hand and power tools
Perform visual inspections and maintenance of production equipment
May initiate purchase order for parts and machines
Notifies department manager of unusual situations
Follows safety and security rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
Follows all good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and wear all required PPE in designated areas
Attention to detail in all performed activities

Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Post high school mechanical or building trades, or equivalent combination of education and work experience accepted;
Seven (7) + years of experience in building trades and/or machine repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Seven (7) + years of experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and automated equipment.

In general, the building’s primary work area consists of pallet storage racking, roller storage and small item storage shelving. The facility uses powered conveyor systems for the transportation of products. Pallet jacks and forklifts are used for palletized products. Some positions require use of safety equipment, which is provided as needed.
Environment Factors
This position requires no travel per week in a local area.
Flexibly to work all assigned schedules and overtime as required based on business needs. On-calls schedules as applicable.
The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount would be based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills. $24.42 - $29.90
