Install, maintain and repair electrical components of industrial equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe housekeeping guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed:
Essential Functions:
+ Install, and repair electrical equipment, parts and control panels and bend conduit, pull wire and design electrical systems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on all production machinery.
+ Operate tools near electrical components.
+ Ability to trouble shoot control systems required.
+ Disassemble machines and perform necessary repairs using hand tools.
+ Replace broken or defective parts.
+ Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
+ Perform quality testing and inspections on electrical equipment.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + High School diploma or GED is required.
+ Must have PLC knowledge.
+ Perform routine upkeep and troubleshoot plc systems.
+ Understand or decipher PLC ladder logic.
+ Familiar with Allen Bradley and Direct Logic PLCs.
+ Programming PLC preferred but not required.
+ Ability to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.
+ Strong communication skills and ability to take management direction.
+ Ability to trouble shoot control systems required.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
+ Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
+ Willingness to preform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
+ Ability to determine load and load limits on electrical services.
+ Excellent attendance.
+ Extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations.
+ Must be professional, technical and mechanically proficient.
