**Job Title: Maintenance Technician Clerk** **Aerotek is Immediately interviewing and hiring for a Maintenance Tech clerk!** **Shift: 1st shift M-F 7:00am - 3:00pm** **Pay: $20 - $30/hr** **Job Description** The Maintenance Shop Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing parts in a way that ensures they arrive at the right place at the right time. In addition, the clerk will assist the Plant Purchaser as needed in their duties to ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner. The parts clerk may also be tasked with maintaining records related to inventory or other tasks. This helps them ensure that they have enough parts on hand to meet demand, while also ensuring that they don’t overstock any items. **Hard Skills** + Organizing and maintaining inventory records + Stocking shelves and organizing bins + Recording the location of parts + Conducting perpetual bin audits + Maintaining special order bins + Processing appropriate dispositions of damaged/used parts + Receiving and verifying new stock + Dispensing parts and materials + Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory Cycle Counts + Maintaining a database of part numbers and identifying information + Coordinating with company purchaser for order management + Addressing procurement issues **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Organizational skills + Ability to maintain accurate records + Effective communication + Problem-solving skills + Administrative support capabilities **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Menands, New York. **Work Environment** Our Client is an independent family-owned dairy company that began in April 2002 with a milk processing location in Menands, NY.
