Maintenance Coordinator

JOB POSTING: Maintenance Coordinator: **THIS POSITION IS BASED AT THE HARPS GENERAL OFFICE LOCATED IN SPRINGDALE, AR**


Harps General Office has an immediate opening for a full-time Maintenance Coordinator. This position will work with the Lead Maintenance Coordinator.

Duties include:

Dispatch maintenance calls for all existing stores and facilities (includes facilities, front-end systems, refrigeration, and other equipment).Release purchase orders for all equipment purchases for new and existing stores.Enter in-house refrigeration invoices/tickets weekly.Enter invoices for all equipment/special supply purchases done through AWG.Assist project managers in obtaining quotes and estimates for equipment and repairs.Assist project managers with coordination items related to new store and remodel construction projects.Assist President, Director of Refrigeration and Maintenance, Director of Real Estate and Project Managers with administrative tasks.


This is a fast-paced environment dealing with many various entities including, but not limited to: Store Management, District and Director level management, in-house maintenance and store systems staff, general and maintenance contractors, AWG store engineering, various utilities and more. Must be a good team player, able to meet deadlines, capable of managing multiple tasks at one time, possess critical thinking skills, and not be shy when communicating to these entities the urgency of the repair or project at hand.


This position is full time, Monday – Friday, with flexible hours of 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm.


High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.

Skills required include but are not limited to:

Data entry, verbal and written communication skills, basic MS Word and Excel, and an aptitude towards customer service.

General grocery store operational knowledge is helpful.

Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change.

Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Frequently reaches overhead and below the knees, including pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching and twisting with or without bearing weight.

Frequent repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as data entry, grasping, gripping and turning.

May be exposed to cleaning solvents or other chemicals.
