Maintenance Coordinator Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Westchester - Tarrytown, NY Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Salary Range $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly Travel Percentage Up to 50% Job Shift Day Description SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Maintenance Coordinator-Westchester is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of all IAHD facilities by implementing comprehensive preventative maintenance programs and overseeing repair activities. This is a supervisor role that involves coordinating with service providers, conducting regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and supplies, and diagnosing and addressing maintenance issues as they arise. The Maintenance Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment across IAHD locations, primarily in Westchester. Day-today responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize equipment downtime and extend life of assets + Provide training to co-workers in basic maintenance, plastering, painting, plumbing, carpentry and some electric work + Ensuring basic tools and equipment are in working order by performing regular inspections + Assessing processes and making recommendations for improvement + Service provider liaison + Inspections + Diagnosis and Repairs + Documentation + Safety Compliance + Team Coordination Qualifications Educational Requirements: + High School Diploma or GED Required Skills: + Driver's license + Must be fully vaccinated (COVID-19) SHIFT AVAILABILITY + Full time, some evenings, weekends and may need to be on call 24 hours per day based on the need of the business Available work location: primary location 32 Warren Avenue Tarrytown, NY Qualifications Must have 5+ yrs of proven experience in maintenance coordination or supervision, strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and equipment repair. Intermediate to advance computer skills. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address maintenance issues effectively. Must have a Clean NYS Driver's License
