You will be the Maintenance Data Collection Rep for the Virginia Beach, VA area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Maintenance Data Collection Rep embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team; your duties will include:
• Responsible for the monitoring and documenting of all actions related to maintenance management for Special Boat Team 20(SBT) located in Little Creek, VA.
• Responsible for the monitoring all actions related to maintenance management for craft assigned to SBT20. This includes day to day communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the requirements to keep the craft operational are in place.
• Participate in and/or monitor all maintenance and repair activity availability requirements to include configuration audits results; ECP/NECP installation tracking; obsolete part notifications, updated part replacement information.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the N9 Engineering Department Head with maintenance of the SBT’s facilities, craft, prime movers, trailers and associated subsystems, accessories, and support equipment. These other duties could include but are not limited to the following: item inventories, performing market surveys, repair parts and POL research, HAZMAT certification, escorting third parties on-site conducting actions supporting maintenance activities.
• You will report directly to the Maritime Sustainment Field Engineer Manager located in Virginia Beach, VA and supports the daily activities required by the SBT N9 Engineering Department Head and or his/her deputy.
• Will support the SBT personnel with DPAS and Fleet Focus utilization and be the onsite subject matter expert on DPAS and Fleet Focus.
• Utilize developed checklists and metrics.
• Produce performance reporting and analyzes trends to mitigate impacts to craft availability.
• Serve as the organization’s primary maintenance support for tracking of all matters concerning configuration of combatant craft.
• Accountable for providing support and continuity communications with Field Engineer Maintenance manager reporting on all craft in “availability”, “groom”, “yard period” and or “overhaul” in their respective localities, anticipate frequent trips to vendor’s facility(s) when craft are present.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree or 8 - 10 years professional experience in lieu of a degree.
Familiarity with CCM, CCA, and CCH craft maintenance availability requirements both short term and long range
Familiarity with NSW craft, support equipment requirements and operational maintenance requirements
Familiarity with SSAVIE database and SOFSA part procurement process
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to senior management, peers, and team members
Ability to obtain an interim Secret DoD Security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US Citizenship
Ability to travel to all 50 US States and Territories
Desired Skills:
Has experience supporting USSOCOM
Has experience supporting surface system vessels to include CCM, CCA, and CCH.
Experienced in Maintenance Management and Configuration Management
Experience in HM&E maintenance support requirements
Has strong working knowledge with SSAVIE, DPAS and Fleet Focus database
Has a strong understanding of the Military Life Cycle Sustainment
Have a minimum of ten (10) years working in or indirect support of the Military / government agency
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
