**Maintenance Electrician $34/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in electrical and mechanical systems and be able to perform under pressure. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, logic and wiring diagrams. + Troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment such as conveyors, diverters, and packaging equipment. + Utilize electrical/electronic test equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes. + Perform all plumbing operations and use pipe fitting tools proficiently. + Conduct electrical welding and troubleshoot mechanical systems controlled by electrical devices. + Make prompt and accurate repairs in high-pressure situations. + Lift up to 80 pounds frequently. + Work flexible hours based on business needs. + Complete and maintain certification for powered vehicle training every two years. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma or GED. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, logic, and wiring diagrams. + Knowledge of N.E.C. and O.S.H.A. guidelines. + Experience with electrical/electronic test equipment and programmable controllers. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment in distribution centers. + Proficiency in plumbing operations and pipe fitting tools. + Knowledge of existing laws and operational requirements set by governing agencies. + Electrical welding skills and basic mechanical equipment knowledge for troubleshooting. + Strong PLC troubleshooting, including reading ladder logic and checking inputs/outputs. + Experience with control cabinets. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Graduation from a vocational/technical school in electrical/electronic craft with at least two years of electrical experience in an industrial environment OR post-secondary education in electronic/electrical craft with four years of electrical experience in an industrial environment. + Experience with high voltage, schematic, welding, Siemens PLC, and Allen-Bradley. **Why Work Here?** We offer a clean and well-maintained distribution center environment with consistent 40-hour work weeks year-round.
