Job Description
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for all aspects of maintaining equipment in a manufacturing facility environment. Tasks for this position include but are not limited to electrical troubleshooting, advanced preventative maintenance, machining skills on a lathe and a mill, PLC programming, and welding.
ResponsibilitiesWork with production supervisors to schedule tasks without interfering with normal productionKnow and adhere to OSHA and NEC electrical codeBe knowledgeable of basic machine-shop processesCoordinate work with co-workers as necessaryCommunicate problems and/or concerns with supervision prior to impacting productionAssemble and fabricate projects as directedProvide feedback to supervisor concerning issues related to production equipmentWork extended and unscheduled hours as required to meet deadlinesTravel as needed to support the facilityMeet all essential functions of the job based on the ergonomic analysisSupport all other departments as requiredAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of industrial maintenance experiencePLC experienceElectrical experience within manufacturingKnowledge of motors and drivesAbility to work on low voltage control circuits, sensors, etc.Ability to work with high voltage for power to machinesMechanical abilities related to bearings, shafts, gears, hydraulics, and pneumaticsWork Environment
The position is based in a manufacturing facility within the heating and cooling solutions industry. The work schedule includes shifts from Wednesday 11pm-5am, Thursday through Saturday 5pm-5am.

This is a Permanent position based out of Joplin, Missouri.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $83000.00
