The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and electrical supply, components, and miscellaneous systems.

\n\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n\n\nThe ability to isolate, lockout and safely work independent on electrical systems to include the installation of new electrical circuits.\nBe able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment.\nThis position requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.\nMust be proficient in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics.\nMust have working knowledge in the use of electrical testing equipment, associated trades hand tools and computers as needed in the performance of assigned duties.\nWill occasionally be required to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, snorkel/boom lifts, pallet jacks, and small conveyance vehicles. Must not be fearful of working from heights.\nWill be required to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) to include arc flash protection gear, and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tagout (LOTO) program. \nMust be detail oriented and a self-starter with a positive attitude.\nThis position will also require the ability to complete job specific tasks associated with facilities maintenance such as; high speed over head doors, lighting, general power distribution as well as high voltage electric monitoring, HVAC, fire protection systems, generators, etc…\n\n\n\n\n

Skills & Qualifications

\n\nWill be required to wear 100% all cotton uniforms (part of the arc flash protection gear) at all times.\nWill be required to wear safety toe boots at all times.\nRequired to supply a small pre-determined list of personal hand tools. \n\n

Physical Requirements

\n\nMust be able to climb stairs and ladders, frequently at times.\nMust be able to lift up to 70lbs regularly.\nMust be able to work in hot and cold environments to include inclement weather.\nMust be able to stand for long durations.\n\n
