**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining flexible packaging equipment and processes, HVAC systems, and building maintenance. This includes working with hot oil systems, pumps, motors, and drives. The role requires expertise in welding, electrical repair, mechanical repair, and installation. You will need to navigate and understand basic PLC programs, perform troubleshooting, and make necessary program adjustments.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain flexible packaging equipment and processes, HVAC systems, and building maintenance.
+ Perform welding, electrical repair, mechanical repair, and installation tasks.
+ Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and gas systems.
+ Take apart and reassemble equipment for maintenance and repair.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
+ Check the performance of machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation.
+ Install and repair electrical wiring.
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
+ Read and use blueprints, manuals, work orders, schematics, and technical drawings.
+ Record all work activities and associated costs.
+ Use basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
+ Follow safety policies and procedures, and wear required PPE.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with flexible packaging processes such as printing press, lamination press, bag making machines, inspection, and slitter machines.
+ Flexible hours to support all shifts as needed.
+ Strong industrial mechanical experience with knowledge of food processing or packaging equipment.
+ Ability to read and understand parts manuals and schematics.
+ Proficiency in using hand and powered tools for repair and maintenance.
+ Certification in safety areas such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, and Fall Protection.
+ Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts and loaders when certified.
+ Provision of own hand tools and lockable toolbox.
+ Preferred knowledge of welding and/or industrial electrical systems.

**Work Environment**
This role requires adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE. You will be exposed to moving machinery and must follow all food grade requirements. The ability to perform effectively under fluctuating workloads and respond accordingly is essential.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00
Takigawa offers a 401k match (2%), Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Life Insurance, Climate Controlled Facility, Takigawa also offers competitive pay, and individuals can expect to see a pay raise after 90 days (Probation Period).
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Bardstown,KY.
