Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $35-45/hour, depending on experienceLocation: Midland, TXWork Schedule: M-F (10+ hours)Assignment Duration: 6 months+Benefits: Comprehesive insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Knowledge of and experience working with motor control centers safely and effectivelyKnowledge of and experience working medium voltage equipment and motors safely and effectivelyKnowledge of or experience working at compressor stations in electrical construction, maintenance, and repairProcess controls and tubing experience is preferredHeat trace installation, repair, and maintenance experience requiredKnowledge of A/C and D/C circuits, as well as electrical theory, ladder logic, read electrical schematics, electrical devices and apparatusesKnowledge of proper power and control troubleshooting (pump panels, instrument devices, relays, breakers, transformers single and three phase, motors etc.)Knowledge of overhead power line and troubleshooting transformer sizing and wiring, fuse coordination is a plusKnowledge of VFD and Soft start devices, operation, and components is a plus but not a requirementWill have to be available for call out rotationsMust has knowledge of meters and how to take measurements safely and correctly Qualifications Licensed Journeyman Texas and/or New Mexico preferredCandidate needs to have good communication skills verbal and writtenMust have clean driving record for at least 3 yearsMust work well with others within his/her department and other departmentsMust have good work ethics hHonesty, trustworthy, punctual, integrity etc.Must be self-motivated individual and able to coordinate workflowIndividual has to be available for on call rotation once put into rotation and be able to manage tasks and workflow accordinglyIndividual will need to have a good safety culture and will need to conform to ours and be a safety leader in all aspects of day-to-day work and tasksThe Bergaila Way:
