We are seeking a skilled maintenance electrician to join our team. As a maintenance electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical reactive maintenance, troubleshooting various equipment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our facility's machinery. You will work with a variety of equipment including 8-color flexo-presses, corrugators, die cutters, Kuka robotics, and roller-driven conveyors.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and review work orders at the start of each shift.Perform electrical reactive maintenance, including photo eye and sensor troubleshooting and replacement.Troubleshoot and replace VFDs and drives, using ethernet for diagnostics.Rewire 480V motors and handle controls troubleshooting.Transfer parameters from one drive to another drive.Conduct some mechanical work and wrench turning, ensuring proper lockout/tagout procedures.Work with equipment powered by hydraulics, pneumatics, and power sources ranging from 24V to 480V.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret schematics.Experience troubleshooting PLCs, particularly Allen-Bradley 500 and 5000 series.Proficiency in motor controls, with specific experience in A-B Powerflex 40 and 525 VFDs.Strong understanding of 480V and 24V power systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with robotics teaching and reteaching.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.Ability to read blueprints and run conduit installations.Experience in heavy reactive maintenance.Why Work Here?We offer above market pay rates, a clean and climate-controlled work environment, and a positive company culture. Shifts available include a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or a Monday-Friday schedule, with on-call duties on weekends that are rarely required.
