Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Safely and competently perform troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a variety of manufacturing equipment in both indoor and outdoor applications within a continuous operational environment. You will analyze and interpret one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, sketches, and drawings to select a logical approach to troubleshooting, tracing, and testing circuits to determine repair or replacement of electrical components.

ResponsibilitiesInspect, repair, install, and wire all electrical devices and circuits, up to and including 480VAC.Maintain HVAC systems through the diagnosis, repair, and replacement of fan motors, burners, and thermostats.Conduct routine water quality checks and perform water analysis as required for all water sources.Monitor wastewater operations in coordination with outside contractors and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational efficiency.Perform electrical troubleshooting and modify existing electrical circuits as required.Manage building management systems and fire protection systems, pumps, and alarm panels.Assist in training new maintenance technicians as required.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe and clean work area.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMaintenance repairPLC troubleshootingHydraulicsMechanical maintenancePreventive maintenanceHVACSchematic readingBlueprint interpretationIndustrial maintenanceWeldingMotor installationAdditional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of previous experience in industrial machinery, electrical, building management, and facility systems.Ability to troubleshoot up to the PLC, replace with a new unit, load program, and confirm proper operation.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.Good verbal communication skills.Ownership of spare parts inventory maintenance.Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00
