Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will review electrical malfunctions to determine cause and solutions, monitor radio and respond to calls as needed, and handle all electrical wiring, repairs, modifications, and upgrades in the plant. You will also monitor plant equipment and facilities to discover and prevent potential problems, handle emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime, and remain familiar with all electrical equipment used in the plant.

ResponsibilitiesReview electrical malfunctions to determine cause and solution.Monitor radio and respond to calls as needed.Determine voltage, resistance, etc., and draw dimensions and methods to wire machinery.Handle all electrical wiring, repairs, modifications, and upgrades in the plant.Monitor plant equipment and facilities to discover and prevent potential problems.Handle emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime.Repair air valves as needed.Repair and monitor all broken machine parts.Repair and rebuild drive motors as needed.Work with Store Room Supervisor to ensure materials are on hand for electrical repairs.Troubleshoot 480v, 3 phase motors, and AC/DC drives.Troubleshoot all mechanical malfunctions (gears, sprockets, drives).Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshootingMechanical troubleshootingPreventative maintenanceMechanical repairElectronicsPulling wireConduit bendingPLC troubleshootingVFD3 phase, 480vAutomationRobotic systemsSiemens control panelElectrical schematic readingWiringAdditional Skills & QualificationsPLC experience (a plus but not required)Robotics experience (a plus but not required)Automation Controls experience (a plus but not required)Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Union work environment with no restrictions for mechanical or electrical positions. The work schedule follows a 2x2x3 shift from 7 pm to 7 am. The position offers competitive pay and a shift differential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00
