**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team **in Roanoke, Indiana** . In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all non-production line equipment in a massive 5,000,000 square foot facility. You will receive work orders from your supervisor throughout the day and complete them efficiently using an industrial golf cart for transportation within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures. + Service and respond to issues with electrical systems. + Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment. + Replace switches, fuses, and other electrical components. **Essential Skills** + **8+ years of Industrial Electrician Experience OR Journeyman's Card- MUST HAVE** + Electrical Troubleshooting Experience + Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics + Self-motivated **Why Work Here?** **Once hired directly, you will have access to FREE benefits and will become part of the union at GM, gaining access to all associated benefits.** **Work Environment** **This is a union facility with the following available shifts: 10:30pm - 7:00am (Tuesday - Saturday).** You will be working in a large, industrial environment, utilizing an industrial golf cart for transportation. **Pay is $36.29 per hour with additional premium/ 3rd shift (.40).** **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of **Roanoke, Indiana** . **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.29 - $36.29 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
