Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Dover, OH. This role involves performing industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting tasks across various voltages and equipment. The position follows a Dupont Schedule with rotating 12-hour shifts.

ResponsibilitiesPerform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v-480v and 3 phase.Troubleshoot electrical systems in the plant including circuits, motors, breakers, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.Assist with special installations and projects.Work on equipment and machinery such as heat exchangers, pumps, mixers, boiler/steam systems, material handlers, filtration systems, and storage tanks.Understand and interpret schematics and blueprints.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs in a timely manner.Read equipment manuals to ensure appropriate operation and repair of equipment.Complete and maintain efficient and accurate paperwork as needed.Install and dismantle equipment.Utilize electrical tools, equipment, and systems effectively.Essential Skills4+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in working with 12v-480v electrical systems and 3 phase.Experience with motors, sensors, switches, photo eyes, circuits, breakers, panels, and variable drives.Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.Skills in point-to-point wiring and diagnosis.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical automation, instrumentation, and robotics.Knowledge of pneumatics and pumps.Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus.Familiarity with Siemens control, the person control, Fanuc control, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment under a union. The schedule follows a Dupont rotation of 12-hour shifts with every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The starting rate is $28.71/hr during initial training, increasing to $32.21/hr after 90 days, and further to $33.21/hr after twelve months. The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $72800.00/yr.
