Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our main plant. This role involves working a 2-2-3 rotation shift with a priority on night shifts. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and wiring for manufacturing equipment, as well as providing preventative maintenance associated with electrical issues. Our plant produces hydro fiber and erosion control products, with another plant focused on pot and soil products.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and wiring for manufacturing equipment.Provide preventative maintenance to address electrical issues.Observe installed systems to detect hazards and determine the need for adjustments or modifications.Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus.Perform effective equipment Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).Use both mechanical and electrical hand tools and power tools.Operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, manlifts, scissor lifts, and cranes.Use electrical/electronic testing equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Maintain control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting and repair experience.Experience with preventive maintenance.Ability to read schematics and interpret complex engineering drawings.Knowledge and use of personal protective equipment for electrical safety.Experience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.Proficiency with electrical/electronic testing equipment.Ability to use mechanical and electrical hand tools and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems, robots, conveyors, augers, gearboxes, boilers, and dryers.Ability to perform rigging using chains, shackles, lifting eyes, slings, come-a-longs, chain falls, and cranes.Experience with motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, and protective relaying.Capability to troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, and related equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a non-climate-controlled environment with a 2-2-3 rotation shift (6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am). The plant is focused on the production of hydro fiber and erosion control products, as well as pot and soil products. Safety is paramount, and you will be provided with the necessary personal protective equipment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $74880.00/yr.
All benefits eligible first day of the month following 60 calendar days:
