**Maintenance Electrician**
**Job Description**
Install main electrical power supply wiring and conduit for equipment as directed by management. This includes robots, welders, motor control centers, conveyors, air handlers, mixers, presses, hydraulic components, and kilns. Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment per industry standards and electrical codes. Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, PLCs, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires/cables. Calculate proper fuse/circuit breaker configuration if not provided by original equipment manufacturers. Use PCs and other interface equipment to program and diagnose PLCs and electronic equipment controls. Diagnose and replace faulty hydraulic and pneumatic electrical components of machines and equipment. Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices. Replace motor bearings and rewire motors. Diagnose and replace faulty electronics components. Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with other maintenance workers. Ensure all safety policies are followed at all times, including Life Critical Safety Rules. Regularly inspect and evaluate electrical and electronic equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain records on equipment status and maintenance. Study blueprints and schematics to establish the best method of repair or replacement. Identify and determine material/electrical requirements with part numbers and equipment required.
**Responsibilities**

+ Diagnose and replace faulty hydraulic and pneumatic electrical components.
+ Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, and motors.
+ Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss issues with other maintenance workers.
+ Ensure adherence to all safety policies, including Life Critical Safety Rules.
+ Regularly inspect and evaluate electrical and electronic equipment for efficiency and safety.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and maintain records on equipment status.
+ Study blueprints and schematics to determine the best repair or replacement methods.
+ Identify material and electrical requirements with part numbers and necessary equipment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting
+ PLC troubleshooting
+ Experience with heavy industrial environments
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics
+ Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
+ Repair and maintenance of industrial equipment
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must pass Ramsay test
+ Ability to climb heights (ladders)
+ 2+ years of experience
+ Must match culture index to this role
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $84406.40 - $84406.40/yr.
