**Now Hiring: Maintenance Electrician**
**Job Description:**
**We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will work with blueprints, electrical instruments, and perform essential tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our machines and facility. The ideal candidate will have prior electrical experience, a strong understanding of electrical diagrams, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to identify the proper parts and layout
+ Use electrical instruments such as multi-meters and amp meters to conduct tests
+ Perform basic soldering and wire control and power systems
+ Climb up to 35 feet for machine maintenance and installations
+ Wire and test small stand-alone machines
+ Bend and install EMT/rigid conduits, organize prints and layouts
+ Layout box locations, drill, tap, and weld frames and boxes in proper positions
+ Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues promptly
+ Make up subpanels with terminal strips and install them in boxes
+ Pull, label, and number wires accurately
+ Understand machine processes, logic, and ladder diagrams
+ Perform machine and facility repairs and installations as needed
+ Apply welding skills for mounting electrical boxes and devices
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems
+ Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and ladder diagrams
+ Experience with electrical instruments such as multi-meters and amp meters
+ Basic soldering skills
+ Control and power wiring experience
+ Ability to climb up to 35 feet and work in elevated positions
+ Experience with EMT/rigid conduits, welding, and electrical box installations
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Ability to operate a forklift
+ High school diploma or equivalent; electrical and mathematical experience
+ Valid driver's license
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge or prior experience with machine processes
+ Familiarity with Mastercam programming (editing G-codes, etc.)
+ Experience with setting up Milling Machines
**Work Environment:**
+ Unionized shop with 110 employees, small team on 2nd shift (around 5 people)
+ Non-climate controlled facility
+ Core hours: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (OT available 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and optional Saturday shifts)
+ The company manufactures machines that produce ductwork for clients worldwide

**Training and Performance:**
+ Initial training on day shifts, shadowing for up to 90 days
+ Expected to be self-sufficient within 30 days
+ 90-day probationary period based on attendance, ability to learn, and performance
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Overtime is based on business needs and is NOT mandatory. The rate of pay is based on prior work experience and schooling. Working outside first shift is a $1.50 shift differential. Skill blocks, available after the probationary period to test on, add up to additional $2.25 money per hour.
