Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Fullerton, CA. This role requires expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, motor controls, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electrical systems, including motor control centers, PLCs, and VFDs.Diagnose and repair electrical distribution equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.Perform preventive maintenance, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently and safely.Utilize electrical test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal imaging cameras.Interpret and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.Install, pull, splice, and terminate wiring following NEC standards.Assist in designing, implementing, and upgrading electrical systems.Work with minimal supervision and collaborate with operations to schedule repairs.Maintain accurate records of inventory, spare parts, and maintenance activities.Adhere to all company and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Formal training and hands-on experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing setting.3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.Strong knowledge of 480V, low voltage, and DC systems, as well as PLC programming and troubleshooting.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.Skilled in electrical installation, including conduit bending, wire soldering, and termination.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Mechanical aptitude with light machining, welding, and fabrication experience.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to heavy machinery.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00 (based on experience).Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime and weekend flexibility required).
