Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician in the electrical/instrumentation craft who performs at or above a journeyman level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the removal, repair, and installation of electrical components, electrical systems analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting, and systems/process optimization. Employees may mentor or train other electrical employees and will work under minimal supervision where the primary objective is safe production.
ResponsibilitiesRemove, repair, and install electrical componentsAnalyze and diagnose electrical systemsConduct advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimizationSafely complete routine and non-routine repairs and constructionMaintain and troubleshoot AC drives, PACs, calibration of field transmitters/transducers, and low voltage equipmentPerform preventative maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment (i.e., substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, process controls, instrumentation, and pneumatic equipment)Perform installations and renovations compliant with regulatory agency standardsFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work area instructionsParticipate in safety and environmental activitiesUse plant and equipment correctly at all timesPlan small scale projects including bill of materials, layout, and scheduleSafely move/maneuver large equipment in close proximity to other equipment, persons, and physical structuresAdditional responsibilities and duties may be assigned according to business needs, including non-electrical tasksEssential SkillsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical circuits and connected equipmentAbility to read, understand, and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairExperience with PLC, working with low and medium voltagesExperience with AC and/or DC controls, instrumentation devices, diagnostic electrical test equipment, and HVAC experienceWork Environment
The position is located at the site in Nipton.

This is a Permanent position based out of Henderson, Nevada.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $73600.00 - $124500.00/yr.
