Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovens. This role involves calculating electrical loads, reading schematics, working with 480V and 3-phase motors, and using testing devices such as amp probes and voltage meters. The ideal candidate will also be adept at changing out and calibrating process sensors, troubleshooting PLCs, and following lockout/tagout procedures.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including conveyors, stackers, packaging machines, and ovensCalculate electrical loads and determine the sizing of conductors and switch gearRead electrical schematics and interconnection diagramsWork with 480V and 3-phase motorsUse testing devices, including amp probes and voltage metersChange out and calibrate process sensors such as level, pressure, and flow transmittersTroubleshoot PLCs and ancillary equipmentFollow lockout/tagout proceduresEssential SkillsExperience troubleshooting production equipment such as conveyors, stackers, and packaging equipmentProficiency in troubleshooting PLCsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematicsExperience working with 480V and 3-phase motorsKnowledge of using amp probes and voltage metersAbility to lift 50+ poundsPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $78852.80 - $78852.80/yr.
