Maintenance Electrician
**Maintenance Electrician** **(Ridgeway, VA)** **$28-$33/Hr.** **NIGHT SHIFT on a 2-2-3 Schedule** **Job Description** We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read blueprints, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and make repairs to manufacturing equipment. Additionally, they should be able to document repairs and maintain machine history logs, work in various extreme conditions, and handle inventory methods and purchase orders. Proficiency in SAP, requisitions, and basic machine shop education or experience is also required. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and make repairs to manufacturing equipment. + Document repairs and maintain machine history logs. + Work in various extreme conditions (hot temperatures, tight quarters, ladders, lifts, etc.). + Handle inventory methods and purchase orders. + Work with SAP and requisitions. + Work overtime and be on call when necessary. + Perform precision mechanical and electrical calibrations, and repairs to industrial machinery in a 'Test Bench' environment. + Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, controls, and electrical/electronic equipment in 'Emergency Breakdown' situations. + Specify, design, and install circuits and/or instrumentation to solve specific needs or problems. + Handle a shift independently, requiring little or no supervision. + Continually improve skills through on-the-job and self-directed training. + Diagnose basic PLC and/or Robotic communications, including uploading and downloading programs. + Utilize experience, troubleshooting, and research skills to manage breakdowns, failures, and calibrations without additional support. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + **Minimum of 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience.** + Ability to read blueprints. + Basic machine shop education or experience. + Knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic and various other mechanic systems. + Possession of hand tools in safe working order (specialty tools provided). + Proficient computer knowledge. + Experience with Computer Maintenance Manager System (CMMS) preferred. + Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues. + Ability to work in various extreme conditions. + Proficiency in SAP and handling requisitions. + Capability of working overtime and being on call. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + **_2 years minimum of industrial electrical experience._** + 2 years Community College degree, Technical Trade School certificate, Military Training, or equivalent formal education in an electrical or electronics discipline. + Proficient in MS Office applications. + Self-directed and self-learning. **Why Work Here?** We offer a great benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401K retirement plan, vacation, and many other perks once hired.
