General Scope of Job:

  Job consists of the responsibility to layout, install, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment as related to an industrial facility.

Job Description:

\n

Necessary to the proper performance of the job is a thorough knowledge of electricity with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. Must be able to make electrical connections. Must have had accredited apprentice training and have had prior experience as an Electrician.

\n\nExperienced in industrial wiring and installations.\nAbility to troubleshoot relay logic controlled equipment.\nAbility to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment\nReceives instructions from immediate supervisor, lead person, or senior electrician.\nMust be able to work without direct supervision upon receiving and reviewing assignments.\nAbility to install and maintain AC/CD motors and controls\nAbility to install circuits, starters, and controls.\nMust have good knowledge and understanding of hydraulics.\nMust have a good mechanical background in repairing equipment, welding, plumbing, and sheet metal work.\nMay perform additional duties within the scope of the job and/or in the department\n

 Required Qualifications:

\n\nMust have had accredited apprentice training and have had one year prior experience as an Electrician.\nMust have good knowledge and understanding of hydraulics\nMust have a good mechanical background in repairing equipment, welding, plumbing, and sheet metal work.\nElectrical test instruments and equipment.\nRequires medium to heavy lifting.\n\n
