**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician responsible for preventive maintenance on the fire protection system, installing new branches, performing rigging, assisting in machine installations, and conducting machine rebuilds on various equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of layout diagrams, utility shut-offs, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on the fire protection system, including operating and testing. + Install new branches in the fire protection system. + Carry out all necessary rigging tasks. + Assist in machine installation and planning. + Rebuild equipment routinely rebuilt on site. + Read and interpret layout diagrams, symbols, and legends. + Locate and operate utility shut-offs. + Assist in major equipment installations. + Rebuild simple equipment under direction. + Pipe fit on both high-pressure and low-pressure lines. + Fabricate machine guards and components based on prints or drawings. + Troubleshoot equipment to identify faulty components and distinguish between electrical or mechanical issues. + Perform minor building repairs. + Operate all machine shop equipment efficiently and safely. + Perform mechanical repairs on production machinery. + Carry out cutting and welding on castings and nonferrous materials. + Maintain regular and predictable attendance. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance + Experience as a maintenance technician + Mechanical knowledge + Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise + PLC troubleshooting + Preventive maintenance experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to perform electrical installations + Proficiency in troubleshooting control circuits + Demonstrated technique in splicing and box installation + Ability to read and interpret instructions, including operating and maintenance instructions, work instructions, and procedure manuals + A/C motor troubleshooting skills + Effective communication with customers, vendors, and employees + Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, measurements, volumes, and rates + Problem-solving skills with the ability to deal with various concrete variables + Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form + Proficiency in reading a tape measure with speed and accuracy **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic work environment committed to cutting-edge technology and continuous investment in our facilities. The facility features advanced technology, including a 98-inch corrugator and six converting machine centers capable of producing flexo and die-cut boxes up to four colors. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
