Summary of the Position:

The maintenance electrician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment.

Functions of the Position:

% of Time Essential (E) or Marginal (M) Functions Performed

50% E Works on new installations of all power, light, motors, transformers, control panels, relays and electronic equipment.

20% E Performs technical and electrical repairs.

10% E Reads and follows electrical schematics for high voltage, low voltage and various control circuits.

10% E Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed.

5% E Completes special projects as needed.

5% M Performs all other duties as assigned.

Continually · Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud, HACCP/FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements. · Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality. · Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management. · Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas. · Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development. · Responsible to comply with all safety policies and procedures established for health and workplace safety. · Responsible to support safety culture by practicing safe

work behaviors, reporting potential hazards, and conducting safety observations.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Two years of experience as a maintenance electrician required.

· Knowledge of electric and control circuits.

· Knowledge of electrical components and wiring

· Strong mechanical skills.

Job Specific Requirements:

This position is subject to mandatory overtime based on business needs.

In the event that the maintenance electrician is absent, the department manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.
