Maintenance Electrician II
**Job Description:** This is a position in the Facilities Management department that requires active participation in an electrical apprenticeship or training program, or the completion of such program without final certification. Experience in a healthcare setting will be helpful. Regardless of specialty, a Maintenance Specialist may be required to perform other maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or assisting with other projects. **Essential Functions** + Maintains, and repairs electrical systems and equipment in the hospital, including lighting, power, and control systems. + Performs regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently. + Troubleshoots and diagnose electrical problems and make necessary repairs. + Ensures all electrical work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards. + Works closely with other members of the facilities management team to coordinate electrical work with other maintenance and repair activities. **Skills** + Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols. + The ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. + The ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural drawings and plans. **Posting Specifics** + Entry Rate: $27.40 + experience + Benefits Eligible: Yes + Shift Details: Full Time - 40 hours per week + Location: Platte Valley Hospital - Brighton, Colorado + Shift Details: Schedule will be discussed in interview. **Minimum Qualifications** + Experience as an electrician and participation in or completion of without certification an electrician apprenticeship or training program. + Demonstrated abilities in the area applied for. + A valid driver license may be required for this position. **Physical Requirements** + Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing. + Use of hand and power tools, proper use of hearing and eye protection. + Exposure to extreme temperatures in nature, work in noisy or constricted spaces, exposure to odors and smells. **Physical Requirements:** **Location:** Platte Valley Hospital **Work City:** Brighton **Work State:** Colorado **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
