The Maintenance Electrician Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of manufacturing facilities. With a strong focus on safety and urgency, this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for both buildings and machinery. The Maintenance Electrician Mechanic must ... have a thorough understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices to support the continuous operations of the manufacturing process. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of all personnel. This position has a rotating shift, work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days. 

Responsibilities:
Perform inspections to assess electrical damages on systems, ensuring early detection and resolution of potential issues.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, replacing or repairing components as needed to restore functionality.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure electrical systems operate smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime.
Upgrade electrical systems and facilities to improve performance and meet regulatory standards.
Perform mechanical repairs as needed, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
Provide technical support to staff, sharing expertise and knowledge to improve overall team performance.
Train and mentor other members of the maintenance staff, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
Enforce and promote the company?s safety rules and policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record work history, track parts usage, and manage maintenance tasks efficiently.
Always work in a safe manner, following all established safety rules and regulations to protect yourself and others.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Skills:
Mechanical aptitude training or machining education is a plus.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED, plus two to three years of technical or vocational training.
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program, or an equivalent period of paid on-the-job training, combined with an additional 4 years of paid journeyman electrician experience.
Proven ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, including the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and facility upkeep.
Exposure to and basic knowledge of welding, as well as the troubleshooting of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls.
