Maintenance Engineer
**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform a variety of facility mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs and troubleshooting. You will utilize basic tools such as a voltmeter, tape measure, electric drill, wrenches, and screwdrivers to execute facility repairs. You will assure the safe and timely execution of all assigned maintenance tasks, with proper documentation. Collaboration and communication with team members and site customers are essential to ensure satisfactory performance of facilities equipment and minimize impact to customers. You must have the ability to read and understand electrical, piping, and floor plan drawings, and possess basic computer skills to utilize programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Additionally, you will assist with shipping and receiving tasks, delivery of shipments to customers, and furniture moves. You will also escort and provide oversight to various vendors supporting maintenance and repairs. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) skills + HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical troubleshooting + Basic tool usage (voltmeter, tape measure, electric drill, wrenches, screwdrivers) + Reading and understanding electrical, piping, and floor plan drawings + Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email) **Soft Skills** + Collaboration + Communication + Documentation **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Redwood City, California. **Work Environment** You will work with a team of 4 people in facilities plus 3 temps. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with eventual day coverage. There is no on-call requirement, but overtime is available.
