Please send your resumes hr@healgen.com About the role The Maintenance Engineer works on installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, and equipment, and keeps tools and equipment working smoothly for company production activities. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Responsibilities Maintenance and repair of plant operational systems including facility, HVAC, electrical, air and piping, production and packaging equipment at company different locations. Lead diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Repairs or replaces defective parts and lubricates and cleans parts as needed in accordance with manufacturing quality system practices. Requisition of supplies and spare parts. Inspects and monitors work areas, examines tools and equipment, and provides employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance Program, developing PM's, assigning the work & tracking completion of preventative maintenance tasks. Assists in the establishment of work procedures and schedules to meet production needs. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product and enforces safety regulations. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and communicates changes effectively. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process and supports and explains reasoning for decisions. Manages competing demands and changes approach or method to best fit the situation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of related experience at maintenance position in a manufacturing environment. Experience within medical device or pharmaceutical industry preferred. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
