Maintenance Engineer
**Electrical Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description** The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing industrial equipment. This includes power service, motor starters, high/low voltage electrical systems, PLC controls, HMI networks (Ethernet I/P, DeviceNet, DH+), and electrical field devices such as photo eyes, proxes, encoders, and limit switches. The role also involves utilizing standard electrical test equipment, updating and clarifying test procedures, and training others to conduct these tests properly. Performing preventive and general maintenance on both production and facilities equipment, completing assigned work orders, and documenting all tests are also key aspects of the job. Additionally, the Maintenance Engineer will troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, recommend continuous improvements, and work with outside contractors on miscellaneous installations when needed. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose, repair, and test industrial equipment including power service, motor starters, and electrical systems. + Work with PLC controls, HMI networks, and electrical field devices such as photo eyes, proxes, encoders, and limit switches. + Utilize standard electrical test equipment to perform equipment tests and write, update, and clarify test procedures. + Train others to conduct tests properly. + Perform preventive and general maintenance on production and facilities equipment. + Complete assigned work orders and document all tests using equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, recorders, and meggars. + Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend continuous improvements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a High Performance Organization environment. + Work with outside contractors on miscellaneous installations when needed. **Essential Skills** + Strong electrical maintenance skills. + Ability to troubleshoot low and high voltage systems (24V-480V). + Proficient in using multimeters and other electrical testing equipment. + Experience with electrical troubleshooting without schematics. + Ability to troubleshoot and install VFDs. + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, shafts, and gearboxes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 5 years of maintenance engineer experience. + Skilled, humble, teachable, and eager to learn. + PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus but not required. **Why Work Here?** As a company recognized for its exceptional commitment to employees, we offer a wide variety of benefits, programs, and services.
