Maintenance Engineer
**Maintenance Technician | Contract to Hire| 2nd and 3rd Shift** **Job Description** Practices integrity, respect, accountability, continuous improvement, and positive interactions with all Team Members and visitors. Evaluates and identifies potential problems, repairs, and maintains electrical/mechanical machinery and equipment. Evaluates and identifies potential problems, repairs, and maintains pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and plumbing systems inside and outside of the plant. Installs new and/or relocates old equipment. Performs necessary repairs and maintenance to buildings and grounds as advised. Cleans and repairs boilers. Identifies potential problems, repairs, overhauls, and maintains crane systems. Completes preventative maintenance as assigned and completes required documentation as indicated. TIG welding with mild steel and/or stainless steel. Involved with project improvements. Assists with team meetings as required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures. Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Management. **Qualifications** + Maintenance Technician + Mechanical + Pneumatics + TIG Welding + HVAC + Electrical Maintenance + Plumbing + Hydraulic Systems **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). You will be directly hired on after 90 days. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Bedford, Ohio. **Work Environment** Works in a manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read and comprehend, sit, stand, walk, reach, lift, grasp, climb, and bend while working in a fast-paced production environment. May be required to work outside of regular business hours and/or weekends, as needed. The employee is regularly exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment, and non-toxic industrial waste and scrap. The noise level in the plant is loud. Earplugs, hairnets, and steel-toed shoes are required. Pay: $25.50-31.70 per hour. Shift: 2nd and 3rd available. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $31.70 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
