About the Role :

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for keeping production running smoothly? Join our CMP Production Team as a Maintenance Engineer in Cheonan, Korea! In this critical role, you will provide a technical expertise to tackle maintenance challenges, ensuring equipment reliability and optimizing plant operations.

We are looking for an innovative professional to lead maintenance initiatives, streamline processes, and help drive our facility's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigationsLead Machine Risk Assessment representing facility and take appropriate actions to close the gapsProvides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.For equipment that is critical for the process ensures that work requests include engineering input on repair procedures, etc. and if necessary provide onsite/offsite technical support for deviations from the procedures.Ensures repairs, repair techniques, equipment specific training, are documented and made availableLead maintenance activities, including Proactive Maintenance, Reactive MaintenanceSet up PPM for equipment and review spare parts list for existing equipment and insures parts are added in support of the maintenance strategyDevelops maintenance operating disciplineParticipates in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy.As required, provides engineering input to work packages to ensure standards are followed.During development of turnaround, work provides input on development of work orders particularly on critical equipment requiring engineering review or input.Provide equipment reliability and performance data to the technical resource networks.Supports Maintenance Procedure :Performs technical reviews of proceduresServes as a technical resource during procedure creation and review.Supports development of the “Procedure Exemption List”Creates/develops/changes/updates job procedures and checklists, and initiates procedure MOC’s.

WAHT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

Experience & Expertise :

5+ years Maintenance Experience for the production equipmentBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering fields

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in CMMS (set up experience is a plus)Knowledge of Six sigma / LEANFamiliarity with lathe and material processing equipment (a plus)

Leadership Abilities :

Experience in leading a small team is advantageous

Problem Solving Mindset :

Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to continuous improvement
