Maintenance Engineer
**Maintenance Engineer - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** The HVAC Service Technician position will include hands-on repair and maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, door and gate systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and various other repair and maintenance tasks associated with the operation of a commercial property. **Responsibilities** + Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components. + Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings. + Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment and the methods required to use them properly, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment. + Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy. + Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Air conditioning + HVAC + Installation + Maintenance technician + Mechanical + Service + Repair + Preventive maintenance + 4+ years of HVAC troubleshooting and repair + Industrial or commercial HVAC experience + Experience working on RTUs (Roof Top Units) + EPA Universal + Electrical + Boiler **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Universal EPA/CFC license + Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance + Knowledge of overall system design and applications **Work Environment** This position operates on the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, located onsite in a large manufacturing plant. The environment can be loud and hot during the warmer months. Candidates can expect to get dirty while making repairs, and uniforms will be provided.
