Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Engineer to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated machinery, particularly filling machines and machines that pump food products into containers. This role involves working from work orders and handling maintenance calls from operators. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance duties, troubleshooting PLCs, and performing various other maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on automated machinery, including filling machines.Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery.Handle preventative maintenance duties.Work from work orders and maintenance calls from operators.Troubleshoot PLCs and report issues to the Automation Engineer.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Comfortably work with automation cabinets.Perform machine adjustments as necessary.Troubleshoot, repair, and replace pumps and electrical motors.Maintain and repair gearboxes.Maintain and repair conveyors, sprockets, chains, gearboxes, motors, pumps, bearings, and more.Rebuild cylinders.Troubleshoot water and air valves.Cut and thread pipes.Replace check valves and basic piping components.Wire motors, troubleshoot electrical issues, check for shorts, check voltage, and wire panels.Work with basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Handle 480V and 3-phase motors.Work with ladder logic, automation cabinets, switches, proxy switches, sensors, inputs, and outputs.Essential Skills2-3 years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.Experience with 120V-480V and 3-phase systems.Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in PLC troubleshooting.Knowledge of three-phase motors, ladder logic, automation cabinets, switches, and sensors.Experience with pumps, wiring harnesses, wiring motors, electrical troubleshooting, and troubleshooting circuits.Understanding of pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, gearbox repair, and preventive maintenance.Ability to use tools such as wrenches and perform tasks like removing bearings and repairing parts.Familiarity with automation testing and PLC maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
We are a Good food, Good life company, believing in the power of food to enhance lives. Our facility has a small, family feel with a 160-person headcount and is FDA regulated. Automated machinery is used throughout our food manufacturing facility, where employees must wear hair nets, beard nets (if necessary), lab coats, gloves, and other protective gear. We have openings for 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am, Sunday to Thursday) and 4th shift (6:00 am - 6:00 pm, Friday to Sunday, and 6:00 am - 12:00 pm on Monday).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
