Maintenance Engineer
**Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and general manufacturing plant equipment, with a preference for those with experience in a food processing environment. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and general manufacturing plant equipment. + Perform general plant mechanical maintenance. + Program Allen Bradley PLCs and work with Allen Bradley Panel View. + Maintain and repair electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits, circuit breakers, motor control centers, and transformers. + Work with high-voltage, 3-phase electricity. + Design and fabricate components as needed. + Replace motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and belts. + Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, including lock-out/tag-out, confined space entry, PPE, fall prevention, and other safety programs. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing packaging equipment and general plant equipment. + Strong electrical and instrumental background. + Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming and Allen Bradley Panel View. + Knowledge of electrical fundamentals and basic theory. + Experience working with high-voltage, 3-phase electricity. + Fabrication and design experience. + Basic motor, gearbox, pump, bearing, and belt replacement skills. + Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that is expanding its workforce by 10% this year. Shifts available are 4a-4p or 4p-4a Sunday – Thursday, sometimes Friday, and 5:30a-5:30p or 3p-3a Monday – Friday, sometimes Saturday. Expect a workload with 10-15 hours of overtime weekly. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.35 - $26.35/hr.
