Job Title: Maintenance Technician

- 1st shift; up to $34 an hour

Job Description

This individual will support the Carrier Manufacturing plant in the preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of Electrical systems throughout the Facility.Maintenance and daily assessments of systems.Assisting other trades in performing general equipment maintenance and repair.Maintaining a clean working environment.Installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus, and devices.Extensive knowledge of motor controls, variable frequency drives, PLC controllers, and power distribution systems is essential.Familiarity with low voltage and fire alarm systems repair on facility equipment and machines.

Hard Skills

3+ years of Electrical troubleshooting experience in an Industrial or Commercial environment.Motor Controls experience.PLC knowledge is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift or 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, located onsite in a large manufacturing plant. The environment can be loud and hot during the warmer months. Candidates can expect to get dirty while making repairs, and uniforms will be provided. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
