Job Description
The maintenance engineering group will work on initiatives to ensure equipment on lines are running efficiently as well as laying out programs for maintenance PMs/Schedules and projects. They have close ties to both Mechanical and Electrical maintenance members and will assist on issues that are escalated to an engineering level. Responsible for ensuring equipment in assigned areas runs effectively and efficiently. May require design of equipment tooling such as jigs and fixtures as needed. Writes manufacturing and work instructions. Will manage projects on line for upgrades and working with outside contractors.

The company designs, manufactures, and assembles wheels for major automotive brands. The facility has about 250 employees and includes equipment for stamping, roll forming, welding, and painting. Some areas of the plant are hot and non-temperature controlled, especially during warm months. The role involves working first shift with potential for significant overtime, particularly during shutdowns and holidays. The plant environment involves the use of oil and lubricants in the manufacturing processes, and there are currently 7 other Maintenance Engineers on the team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
