**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer** **Shift: 1st & 2nd** **Pay: $24/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machine control systems, including three-wire and PLC controls. The role involves working with both AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480V, mechanical power transmission drives, pneumatic equipment, general facility plumbing, and carpentry work. **Responsibilities** + Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems, including three-wire and PLC controls. + Install, repair, and diagnose both AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480V. + Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems, as well as pneumatic equipment. + Perform general facility plumbing and carpentry work as required. + Support the preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants. + Handle and apply basic hand and power tools and test equipment properly. + Support the plant's production equipment and setup. + Execute breadder, mills, scalper, and sifter setup, changeover, and disassembly requirements. + Responsible for the hookup and unloading of bulk rail materials and the proper hookup of bulk material trucks. + Maintain and upkeep robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems. + Handle waste in compliance with EPA rules. + Perform daily inspection of forklift equipment. + Follow company rules and procedures. + Operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds. **Essential Skills** + Experience with pneumatics. + Ability to read schematics. + Electrical troubleshooting experience, including AC motors, overloads, and fuses. + Capability to lift 75 pounds. + Experience with blenders, electrical, hydraulics, repair, preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, three-phase motors, maintenance repair, plumbing, and carpentry. + Knowledge of AC and DC motors and bagging systems. + EPA compliance knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hydraulics experience is a plus, though only two machines on site use them. + Tow motor/forklift certification is a significant advantage. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401k plan, and a great pension for the maintenance team.
