· Provide troubleshooting & repair support for production equipment · Installation & technical support of PLC-based hardware and software · Create designs for electrical and controls systems, draw schematics, generate BOM, install & debug · Train & guide technicians in the troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems · Writes and edits PLC programs · Identifies opportunities for improved safety, streamline controls, error-proofing, and cost reduction Ideal Skills/Abilities · Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics for existing and new equipment, assuring compliance with applicable codes using CAD · Understand UL and NFPA codes and be able to incorporate into designs · Design electrical controls and safety circuits · Experienced in troubleshooting of PLC systems · Capable of working with 480v and lower-voltage systems · Knowledge of robotic and automated production processes · Capable of performing troubleshooting and repair on live electrical components following arc-flash safety protocols About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
