THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is to maintain and repair all equipment while assisting in assigned daily operations and activities. Additionally, they will provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.


STARTING RATE: $32.51 an hour


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Maintain equipment operations: Oversee the maintenance and repair of boilers, compressors, refrigeration units, generators, and other machinery powered by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, or water. Ensure all mechanical systems are operating efficiently.

Perform inspections: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair various mechanical and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.

Troubleshoot issues: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems across all relevant equipment, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.

Manage work orders: Complete and close work orders efficiently, prioritizing tasks and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.

Conduct daily routes: Perform daily inspections along designated routes, identifying any necessary repairs and addressing them promptly.

Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

Availability: Be available to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as required.

Experience: Bring 3+ years of maintenance experience in a resort or similar environment, demonstrating expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Physical demands: Be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting throughout the shift. Must also be able to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. as required.

Fast-paced environment: Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and remain adaptable under pressure.

Troubleshooting skills: Have a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.

Work collaboratively: Show a commitment to teamwork, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills that contribute to a positive work environment.
