What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation for oversight of plant maintenance team and project engineering team at our Spartanburg, SC facility.
What We're Looking For:
Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance / engineering team. Ensure a safe work environment and culture in the Engineering and Maintenance Department. Oversee and control plant maintenance budget. Participate in capital planning. Execute capital projects: Refine project scope with requestor. Perform design calculations. Estimate project costs. Provide construction oversight and management throughout the project. Provide resources and technical support for continuous improvement programs at the plant.Assist with external, internal, plant wide and departmental HSE&S audits.
Other duties as required and directed by the Sr Plant Manager.
Skills That Make a Difference:
BS in Engineering. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years of capital project engineering experience with demonstrated competencies to successfully manage project and construction activities. Experience leading, motivating, and influencing others. Extensive chemical unit operations experience. Knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, and maintenance procedures. Commitment to using preventative maintenance to drive equipment reliability. Capable of leading problem-solving teams. Demonstrated planning and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Strong MS Office products knowledge and skills.
Considered a plus:
Experience with DeltaV, OSI PI Process Book Experience with SAP Process Safety Management
