Job Title: Maintenance Engineering Manager
Job Description

Oversee the upkeep and operation of all machinery and equipment. Ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, handling both preventive maintenance and repairs. The role involves 70% engineering work on equipment and ensuring everything is running, and 30% general facilities management.

ResponsibilitiesSupervise the maintenance team.Ensure machines are in top condition, crucial for producing high-quality metal products.Schedule and execute maintenance tasks.Plan and carry out preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.Work closely with suppliers for equipment procurement and maintenance.Address any issues that arise with machinery or facilities.Ensure all operations comply with safety standards and protocols.Essential SkillsEngineering and engineering management experience.Process improvement expertise.5-10 years in leadership within an industrial manufacturing background.Experience in automotive, CNC machining, or injection molding.People management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsLean manufacturing or world-class background – trainings and classes.Experience in aerospace or automotive industry.Military background may be advantageous.Experience managing people – scheduling, performance, tasks.Engineering background or degree.Work Environment

Manufacturing setting with 275 employees, currently running 4 ten-hour shifts. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for salaried employees. Fridays are more open, allowing for a schedule that suits the team. The team is small and tight-knit, with no formal titles and a collaborative work culture.
